Sigma FC is one of Canada’s and North America’s leading development academies, home to aspiring, talented players and knowledgeable coach educators. Together they have built an excellent learning environment conducive to proper long-term development and goal attainment.

Academy graduates successfully represent Sigma FC at many levels beyond youth soccer including Universities in the USA (NCAA) and Canada (CIS), as well as at professional level throughout North America and Europe.   Further, many Sigma FC players have been major contributors for Canada (and other countries) at the youth and senior national team levels.

Teams:  Sigma FC is home to development academy teams from U11 all the way up to our first team

Competition: Junior aged academy teams compete in the Soccer Academy Alliance Canada (SAAC) competition. SAAC is Canada’s first and leading standards based organization of development academies. They also participate in domestic and international tournaments, camps and friendly series.

Senior academy teams compete in the OSL U21 and League 1 Ontario competitions.

Pre-Academy age identification of players (<U12): Prior to joining academy teams, many younger aged players have taken part in Pre-Academy programming at Sigma FC including the ETC Program and Development Camps.  Further, young players are recommended to Sigma FC from trusted partners in the community and take part in our periodic Talent Days sessions.

Tryout Requests:Players wishing to join Sigma FC academy teams are asked to submit an Expression of Interest form indicating the following information – age, position, playing history and characteristics. A Sigma FC representative could then contact you to arrange an evaluation session.
